Pir Panchal, a Cultural Educational Social Environmental and sports organization in a function felicitated Dr. K. L. Chowdhary, and Bimla Raina for the valuable contribution to the society and
reiterated the demand of revival of Sharda Shrine in Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

Pir Panchal in a function organized on 2nd October as a day to initiate peace for the religious tourism on Thursday felicitated Dr. K. L. Chowdhary, a renowned doctor and Bimla Raina, an author of repute. The function was presided over by A. N. Vaishnavi, president, ASKPS. Prof. O. N. Chrangoo, Kumar Ji Swami, Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi, Ramesh Hangloo, President Pir Panchal and many prominent scholars and intellectuals were also present on the occasion.

Prof. O. N. Chrangoo speaking on the occasion described Sharada concept as the symbol of Kashmiri culture which could be the panacea for the world troubles. A. N. Vaishnavi praising the contribution of Pir Panchal termed it as a yeoman's organization which is working in the socio cultural and environmental excellence. He stressed that the progeny should keep the cultural concepts and language in tact so that the community should not repent in future.

Swami Kumar Ji gave a religious concept to preserve and promote the culture. Ramesh Hangloo President of the organization reiterating the revival of Sharda Peeth in Pakistan occupied Kashmir gave details of the
events that took place on the issue of opening of the shrine. He said last year the organization had gone to uri border on 2nd October to initiate peace for the religious tourism and demanded permission to
visit the shrine, which was not granted. He said Pir Panchal is in the process to pen a community Radio station in Jammu shortly, for which the I&B ministry is shortly issuing a license.
