Where am I?
I cannot find my parents or my friends Surrounded by strangers I am lost Far away from people I know I don’t know how, but they are Gone Without a trace I look around I do not see my family I see busy workers, rushing to their job Burly men, arguing about an unknown thing In the distance I hear an abrupt call And I stop Is it my parents? Do they know I’m lost? I stop my thinking Many people whisper I see a girl Grasping her teddy bear Crying It is not my parents Where are they? |
