All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) with Hindu Raksha Dal, JFKPS & other Kashmiri Hindu organisations today staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, to mark 27th year of exile, after being thrown out of valley in the year 1990. The protest was to recall the pain and agony that these migrants have been suffering on various fronts due to the forced exodus. The protest was led by Sh. Ravinder Pandita, Head of APMCC Delhi - NCR. While addressing the gathering he demanded that State and Central government should talk to the displaced Hindus. The recent violence in Kashmir that has begun on July 8 after Burhan Wani’s killing has evoked a total protest across the valley with separatists calling the shots. There is a complete social boycott with Kashmiri hindus in the valley who have been forced thus to leave their hearth and homes and save their lives. Kashmiri Pandits have time and again shown that they are true nationalists and are a target as a result of this. But Separatists and anti national forces have always prevailed and created a civil war like situation in the valley. National President of Hindu Raksha Dal made a fiery speech stressing a full support to displaced Hindus of the valley. Kamal Kishore of JFKPS recalled the atrocities met to kashmiri pundits and showed solidarity with the migrants. Other prominent leaders of Kashmiri pandit organizations stressed the need of rehabilitation of Kashmiri hindus with honour and dignity. Pradeep Pandita an APMCC activist said “ I am a Kashmiri, not a tourist out here today. We cannot be forced to go back’. Vishal Sharma, Rajoo Kak and Manish Zijoo of APMCC demanded immediate action by Union Home Ministry and State Government as well to address the demands and meet the aspirations of Kashmiri Hindus. Other prominent activists included Ashwani Pandita, Sunil Shakdhar, Bansi Lal Reshi, Yajjin Bhat, Ravi Regu said that ‘ Isn’t government ashamed that KP’s are in exile for last 27 years’. The activists wore black badges and bands as a mark of protest. APMCC is one of the frontline organizations of Kashmiri hindus working for the rehabilitation and reclamation of destroyed and abandoned temples throughout the valley and has come into prominence by bringing the soil from Sharda in POK recently and organizing infamous Kaunsar Nag Yatra, Porbander Gujarat indefinite fast by its chairman, Jammu 10 day long fast and other protests in support of their demands.
