Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Minority Cell has hailed Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah for his historic decision of providing 15,000 jobs to Kashmiri Pandit Youth during the next one year, the announcement of which has been made in the annual budget presented recently in the State Legislature.
Speaking at a Press Conference here today Anil Dhar, Senior Vice president NC Minority Cell said that this decision will go a long way in infusing a new sense of confidence among Kashmiri Pandits, especially the young generation and pave way for ultimate return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley. Claiming this to be as the first concrete step taken by the present Government under the young and dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits, Dhar said that this was a clear signal that the Government was working in the right direction and had a clear vision and policy for building a secular, egalitarian social structure in the State. Dhar appealed to the entire Kashmiri Pandit community to hail and support the positive and path-breaking initiatives of Omar Abdullah so that the dream of the young CM of building a Naya Kashmir, in which people belonging to all faiths and creeds can live together in peace and harmony, can be realized. |
