Helpline Humanity organises career counseling at Purkhoo Camp

elpline Humanity, a nongovernmental voluntary organization in collaboration with HCL (a career development association) is organizing career counseling-cum-guidance at Purkhoo migrant camp to educate the educated youth how to seek employment in corporate sector.

M. K. Bhat, President of the NGO in his educative address said that the aim of the organization is to educate the youth how to get good and quality education to find themselves duly adjusted in corporate sector, which is much more lucrative that the government sector, which has denied proportionate share of jobs to the KPs since the last two decades. He said that though yet the activities of the NGO are limited, in future they are going to organize such counseling- cum- guidance programmes at different parts of the state. He also red the keynote address and the annual report on the occasion.

The HCL representatives present on the occasion delivered lectures on the information technology. Krishan Pal Singh and Nisha Raina gave career tips and career guidelines to the youth on the occasion.

About 200 students and their parents and the students from Govt Higher Secondary School purkhoo camp were present on the occasion to seek the guidelines.

Sunil Pandita, Secretary of the Organisation welcomed the participants. Vijay Pandita, Organizer, R. K. Bhat, Ramesh Hangloo, Ashok Kangan, Sameer Koul, Surinder Bhat, Anil and Veenu Pandit, H. N. Tickoo, Usha Zutshi, Principal, Rattan Lal were also present on the occasion.
