Shiva by Chaman Lal Raina (USA) ShivaTanme Manah Shiva Sankalpam Astu------- Shiva is the Ananda aspect of Kashmir Shaivism, also known as the SAMVIT. Samvit is manifested in the PURNA-PRAKRITI. It is an integral approach to see the Divine in all colors. Shiva and Shakti are the Abstract forms of Purusha and Prakriti. The white strokes in the painting depict the Sattva, which reflects the HAMSA state of the YOGIS, These are the RAAZ --HONZS as described in the mystic poetry of Kasmir. |
