TONIGHT ALL OF A SUDDEN Dhaar Mehak | |
| Tonight, all of a sudden I looked up, Only to find the dark sky! I looked at the moon and moon looked at me; and I looked within; Again, As my eyes rose up, I wonder, what it is like, is the moon innocent Or it is bald? I but found it, unceasingly Cold... This coldness I know; verily of experience, this is it, it counts for my, own experience. The same cold feeling The same dark surroundings My heart doesn't know, My being experienced... A torn-lover? Cowardly it sounds! Nothing if that a mere thought and a passing vision. As I look, deep inside, all I find is, Ashes! Memory but, has a say, and it did play its part, It reminded; Once it was a kinked fire, There was light There was a shine There were feelings There were thoughts Dreams indeed did exist... Today the ashes, another aspect narrate; Feelings abstracted Thoughts vanished Dreams of day, turned of night; the only thing I remember are; Traces... The sky filled me with thoughts ; My numbness, Alas! spark got? Let me sprinkle some water over it! Let numbness and neutrality prevail. Let darkness continue Let thoughts cease Let rehashes vanish and everything be cold. |
