Zack, the Master Prankster
By Arman Koul | ||||

Zack went to Springfield elementary which is the best school in all of Springfield. It has security cameras everywhere, which were installed just for trouble makers like Zack. It also has teachers from all over the world. Some people are surprised that it is even a public school. The school has a graduation day tradition, which is applicable if the kids do well in the school year and they seem to do so every year. That year too, the kids had been allowed one prank on their teacher. It was the last day of fifth grade for Zack, which meant it was his last day at Springfield Elementary and he wanted to pull a prank on behalf of the graduating class. However, keeping in mind his reputation, the prank had to be so elaborate and evil that he would have to be remembered in history as the kid who soaked the Principal himself. His best friend, Martin is a top notch liar. When I say top notch, I mean it. He could lie his way out of anything; which does come in handy when you are the biggest trouble maker in all of Massachusetts. For the prank to be a success, Zack needed Martin’s services. So, at lunch, he told Martin the plan. Martin though that the plan was great but said that it would need a lot of improvising. The duo started putting the plan in action when all the fifth graders were getting extra recess at the end of the day. They went to the school hose and filled up the water balloons Zack always kept in his backpack. Halfway through filling up the water balloons, Martin had an idea. He said, “Why should we only be known as the kids who soaked the Principal when we could be known as the kids who colored the Principal. If we could get some of that color powder from the project class, we could get it done!” At the office, the Principal was thinking about the pranks that would be played on the teachers that day and he would get to laugh about them. He was mostly interested in knowing about what prank the “dangerous duo” of Zack and Martin would play on their teacher. He had a fleeting thought that the dangerous duo might even target him and became nervous. As someone called out for him, he quickly realized that he could not hide but would have to take precautions. Meanwhile, the dangerous duo had told their parents to bring their cameras. They said that something funny might happen which would make everybody laugh for many years after the graduation celebration. At the celebration, the whole school was present as well as the parents of the students. The Principal would give certificates to the graduates three at a time, the bell would ring and every kid in the school would go totally crazy in cheering. The Principal called out the names of Ralph, Zack and Martin. Ralph got his award and so did Zack and Martin. As soon as they both got their awards, they looked at their trap and then at each other. There was a loud cheer going on as Zach started speaking in the Principal’s ear. No one knows what he was speaking about but it was surely making the Principal fidgety. So fidgety, that his chair was rattling. Zack started running and the Principal ran after him. Zack ran directly towards the string they had put across two pillars and made sure that he tripped it as he ran on. The Principal was right behind him and the movement of the string caused the color water filled balloons to fall on his head. He realized that he had been pranked. Now he had no option but to hand over the remaining graduation certificates in his multi-colored costume. The cheers were ever louder and accompanied by funny laughter, kind of when people try to hold themselves from laughing hard. Today, 2 years later the dangerous duo has become the trespassing trio. It is Middle school and the tricks are harder. But anything is possible for Zack, Martin and their new friend, Todd. | ||||
