I am a pencil, as proud as can be
I am so useful; I am filled up with glee
Think of me as someone, not dead or alive
But can swim, and also pencil dive
I was made in the U.S.A.
My homeland you can say
I am very patriotic
And could be President one day
I can sign a bill
And am needed for a will
Bills can help collect property
And wills can divide property
But right now, I am not being used
And am being excused
From my owners gentle hand
And dropped hard on land
I am the king of pencils
How dare you treat me like this?
You give me no respect
And mount an eraser on my head
You picked me up.
Now you say I’m terrible
Oh you’re so corrupt
