Kanwal K Kaul - Born in Srinagar, Kashmir, in October 1932. Awarded WHO visiting fellowship in 1966 and in 1976, senior Nuffield Foundation Fellowship (Heinz) as visiting Fellow at Institute of Child Health London and at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Has published over a hundred articles in indexed national and international journals and contributed chapters and authored books. Member expert panels of the ICMR and other organizations. Invited at several orations and as guest speaker by various organizations
Awards and honors: Founder Fellow Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Fellow National Academy of Medical Sciences, National President Indian Academy of Pediatrics 1984, and the prestigious Late Dr.B C Roy National Award as eminent teacher.
Currently engage in limited consulting practice. Indulge in writing urdu poetry since 1995 and published a book “Naseem-e-seher”.
